The Barth Syndrome Foundation's 2012 Conference was hailed as an outstanding success by the patients with Barth syndrome, family members, and the clinicians and researchers who braved Tropical Storm Debby to attend. The conference included 44 individuals with Barth syndrome, their families, and nearly 50 physicians and researchers to hear about the progress made in this field. In all, over 330 people attended this seminal event — a new record.
