  of the Western world\, founded in 1088)\, in the historical center of Bol
 ogna. This location provides a wonderful opportunity to visit historical U
 niversity buildings\, libraries and museums\, walk through ancient arcades
 \, see magnificient monuments and eat great food in a vibrant atmosphere. 
 The Railway station is in the center of town and by 2019 it will be access
 ible from the Airport in 7 minutes.\n\nWe are preparing a stimulating scie
 ntific program which will include 5 plenary lectures\, 16 symposia oral co
 mmunications\, and poster sessions. Young researchers are welcome to atten
 d the European Young Physiologists‘ Symposium (EYPS) on the first day of t
 he Meeting. Coffee breaks\, lunches and events in the evening will offer f
 ruitful opportunities for networking and discussions with colleagues\, acc
 ompanied by food and wine in a charming historical background.\n\nThis is 
 the first Joint Meeting organized by Italian Physiologists with other Phys
 iological Societies. Therefore\, in occasion of the 70th Italian Congress 
 of SIF\, italian physiologists are proud to host a joint Meeting with FEPS
  and host all of you in Italy.\n\nWe are looking forward to meeting you in
