Mark is an experienced Chief Financial Officer in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors who is now working as an independent consultant.  Most recently (where he worked closely with Emily), he was CFO of JDRF International, directing a staff of 50 to manage the finance, technology, facilities, investment and compliance functions of the Organization whose mission is to raise funds to support research and advocacy to cure Type I Diabetes.  He has also held CFO and other senior financial positions for several companies in the fashion industry, including Coach Inc., and in various finance leadership  positions at American Express.

He has demonstrated very relevant knowledge and experience, offered highly useful contacts and shown himself to have a temperament that will fit very well with the BSF culture.

Mark earned a BS in Business administration at University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.  He is eager now to lend his expertise and experience to BSF.
